Project Details
the challenge
Meyer Group needed a series of countertop displays that would increase product visibility in-store whilst showcasing the premium quality of the Luigi Bormioli glassware and Oneida cutlery ranges. The displays needed to do more than simply hold product. They had to create a tactile retail experience that encouraged customers to interact directly with the products and better appreciate the quality and finish of the ranges. Alongside functionality, the visual presentation was equally important. Lifestyle-led graphics were incorporated to help bring warmth and aspiration into the retail space whilst strengthening the premium positioning of the brands. The biggest challenge, however, was time. The project began on 6th May 2025 with prototypes required by 2nd June 2025 for the Exclusively Housewares show. Within that short timeframe, Ripple needed to complete research and development, concept sketches, 3D visuals, technical drawings, and prototype manufacture. Following positive feedback at the show, Meyer approved the displays for wider rollout across their retail estate later that year.

Our Solutions
Ripple delivered a fully managed end-to-end POS display solution, combining rapid design development with agile in-house manufacturing capabilities.

Fast-Track Design & Development
Working to a compressed timeline, Ripple’s in-house teams streamlined the entire process from concept through to prototype manufacture. This allowed the project to move from initial briefing to finished prototypes in less than four weeks.

Premium Countertop Display Design
The displays were designed to maximise visibility whilst maintaining a clean and premium retail appearance suited to department store environments. Careful consideration was given to customer interaction, ensuring products could be handled easily whilst still maintaining a polished and organised presentation.

Lifestyle-Led Visual Merchandising
Ripple incorporated lifestyle-driven graphics into the display concepts to create stronger visual engagement and bring more personality into the retail environment. This helped reinforce the aspirational positioning of both brands whilst creating a more immersive customer experience.
Installation & Launch
Following successful prototype sign-off at the Exclusively Housewares show, the displays were approved for rollout across the John Lewis store estate in October 2025. The final displays delivered stronger product visibility, elevated brand presentation, and prominent placement within premium British department stores. The project also demonstrated Ripple’s ability to manage high-quality retail display rollouts under demanding timescales without compromising on finish or functionality.
