Little Greene Paint & Paper Displays
Display Design & Manufacture

Project Overview
Little Greene wanted a paint display that helped customers choose colour with confidence. Ripple shaped a solution that focused on how shoppers interact with shade, how stockists keep displays tidy, and how a premium brand stays consistent across global retail partners.
Project Details
the challenge
Colour choice depends on clarity. Stockists need displays that guide shoppers through 128 shades without confusion or choice overwhelm. Little Greene also needed something durable enough for long-distance shipping, simple for teams to refresh, and refined enough to match their reputation for crafted finishes.

Our Solutions
We designed a display system that balances premium finish, intuitive interaction, and consistent brand presentation - built to perform in busy retail spaces.

Consistent, Durable and On-Brand
Egger Sand Lyon Ash gives the unit a warm, premium character while keeping the structure resilient. Matching edges ensured every visible surface felt intentional and consistent, no matter what store the display is featured in.

Designed for Easy Colour Exploration
Ripple designed a display that helps shoppers navigate colour choices with ease. At its centre, 128 painted cubes guide exploration across shade families. Below, 54 trays hold over 1,200 sample pots for hands-on testing. A soft-close drawer keeps refills tucked away, while paper panels allow for quick updates.

See Colour Exactly as Intended
Lighting matched Little Greene’s established spec, with a warm/cool switch to support real-world colour testing. A vinyl header carried the brand cleanly across all markets, helping every stockist present the range with the same confidence and clarity.
Installation & Launch
Since 2021, Ripple has shipped 280 of the 2m Paint Library units to Little Greene’s stockists across the UK, USA, France, Ireland, Germany, and the Netherlands. Every unit is transported on a reinforced double pallet with full wrap protection and clear marking—giving stockists a smooth, trouble-free arrival. For international shipments, heat-treated pallets are used to meet customs requirements.
The rollout supports Little Greene’s growing distributor network, and further units are already planned as the brand strengthens its reach. The partnership also includes wider retail projects, from future concepts to showroom upgrades. Check out some of the showrooms we’ve completed for the brand, including Wilmslow and Paris.
