Blenheim Palace partnered with Ripple to create a dedicated retail environment for the Barbour brand within its existing retail store. The objective was to establish a premium branded destination that complemented both Barbour's heritage aesthetic and the prestigious surroundings of one of Britain's most iconic visitor attractions. The solution needed to maximise product visibility, enhance the customer experience, and integrate seamlessly into the existing retail environment without compromising the character of the store. Using Ripple's REFRAME modular display system, we created a flexible and sophisticated retail space that showcases Barbour products whilst maintaining the premium standards expected within a world-renowned heritage destination.

Blenheim Palace required a dedicated branded retail space that would allow Barbour products to stand out within its existing store environment. The project needed to balance several competing requirements. The display had to create a strong and recognisable Barbour presence whilst respecting the premium retail setting and heritage character of the location. Installation also had to be carefully managed within a busy visitor attraction, ensuring minimal disruption to day-to-day operations and customer flow. In addition, the available retail footprint needed to be optimised to maximise merchandising opportunities without overcrowding the store or impacting the overall shopping experience.

Our Solutions

Ripple utilised its REFRAME modular retail display system to create a clearly defined Barbour retail environment within the existing store. The solution established a strong branded presence whilst maintaining visual harmony with the surrounding retail space and heritage setting.

Flexible Modular Merchandising

The installation incorporated: Three-section wall bay display, two display tables and two gondola units. This combination provided a balanced merchandising solution capable of showcasing a broad product range whilst maintaining a clean and premium presentation.

Designed for Long-Term Adaptability

One of the key advantages of the REFRAME system is its flexibility. The modular structure allows merchandising layouts to be updated easily as product ranges evolve throughout the year, ensuring the retail environment remains fresh and commercially effective without requiring a complete refit.

Seamless Integration Within a Heritage Environment

Careful consideration was given to the relationship between the Barbour brand and the prestigious surroundings of Blenheim Palace. The final installation successfully delivered a contemporary branded retail space whilst respecting the character and quality expectations of the wider retail environment.
