Ripple has made waves across Lakeland stores with interactive displays

· News

We have collaborated with leading cookware manufacturer Meyer Group to develop bespoke display bays for Lakeland stores across the UK.

Meyer Group is the UK’s largest supplier of kitchenware and engaged us to create the feature zones for cookware departments at 13 flagship Lakeland stores. These include the Trafford Centre in Greater Manchester, Bluewater in Kent, Buchanan Galleries in Glasgow and Windermere in the Lake District.

Our unique display solution enhances the shopper-experience, making the purchasing process more intuitive and educational. It helps customers differentiate between cookware products and learn about specific uses and applications. It also encourages them to interact with brands and product ranges and extends dwell-time.

The customer simply places a pan on a centre point to learn about its specific features and benefits. Information is displayed through a tailored on-screen presentation. This appeals to a spectrum of shoppers whether older or younger and more tech-savvy.

The technology also enables the retailer to instantly update content across all stores. The result is a fresh, frequently updated content plan tailored to support promotions, range launches and seasonality.

The displays are enabled by radio frequency identification (RFID) technology. The LED TV screen and RFID technology along with the dedicated product display areas make a unique and user-friendly experience.

The display zone acts as a stand-out beacon for Lakeland cookware departments. We used striking, green edge-lit acrylics to define the display bay area. The bays also feature high-quality cabinet work with a durable spray finish, engineered steel components that are powder-coated in a silver finish and vinyl graphics.

Hannah Wolfenden, our Key Account Manager, said: ‘’Technology is playing an increasingly important role in retail environments. It is a pleasure for us to develop new display solutions with brands and retailers who are investing in digital strategies to keep ahead of competition.

“Lakeland is continuing to buy innovative products to make homeowners’ lives easier, whilst also investing in the brand and the overall in-store experience.”

As a people-focused, family business with Investors In People (IIP) Gold accreditation, we are proud to work with Lakeland. We believe both companies have embedded philosophies, culture and values that have been core to our respective success over decades.

This was our first project for Lakeland stores but we are proud to have worked with Meyer Group and brands for several years. We have previously provided many high-performing display solutions for leading brands such as Circulon, Prestige, Anolon, Joe Wicks and Hestan.

News of our Lakeland displays has appeared in the media recently including the business news website Insider.
