I am writing to extend my thoughts to you, and hope that you, your family, and your business are keeping as well as can be in these challenging times.
We are all in this together and there are some extraordinary challenges right now that we would never have imagined we would have to deal with. It is something that none of us had prepared for, and one thing that stands out for me is the incredible will and strength that individuals and organisations have found to help the cause.
There have been so many remarkable acts of kindness and selflessness across our society, our neighbourhoods and our businesses. The mutual support around our business network has been incredible, and on behalf of the team here at Ripple Group, I wish to take this opportunity to thank you; our customers, suppliers and colleagues for the help and cooperation we have received during this crisis.
I wanted to let you know that Ripple is still able to support you and your business throughout this period. Although much of the demand for our core activities of design and manufacture have decreased in the short term, we presently still have the key resource at our disposal to meet with any requirements you may have. For instance, we are still working on some exciting design projects and a limited amount of production so we can continue to provide solutions for clients. We are also currently designing and developing a range of products to help to protect our customer’s, staff and shoppers to meet immediate needs and in preparation for returning to work.
We are very proud of our team at Ripple and will do everything within our power to protect them, so they can continue to look after you. During this time, the safety and wellbeing of our staff are incredibly important to us and we are doing all we can to ensure that our presently reduced team are working in a safe environment by strictly following government distancing and hygiene guidelines.
There are many positives to be taken from this whole experience, I think it has brought out the best in people, it has been an opportunity to reframe what really matters, to help others and to plan for an even better future. In the past week or so there have been some ‘green shoots’ emerging where our customers want to prepare for bouncing back in a position of strength, so I have a real sense of optimism.
And one final thought, during these difficult yet important times, we must plan and think ahead and live this time thoughtfully and with a purpose for a brighter future.
