We are proud to announce that Ripple Group has been selected as a finalist for two categories in the 2020 Oldham Business Awards programme.
Last year, RED our manufacturing business was a finalist and this year Ripple Group has been nominated for ‘Business of the Year’ and ‘Employer of the Year’ and we are delighted to have been selected as finalists for both. The winners will be announced on Friday 15th May at the annual ceremony at the Queen Elizabeth Hall.
The Oldham Business Awards are now in their 12th year and reputed to be one of the biggest business awards in the North West of England and over 500 guests will be attending the occasion with celebrity hosts.
OBA was developed to celebrate business success whilst also recognising the contribution that businesses make in helping to shape the fabric of our society, locally and nationally. The Awards reward business excellence for innovation, inspirational leadership and exceptional standards of people management and development.
These awards follow Ripple Group’s Investors in People Gold award and the 2019 Northern Enterprise Awards Best Retail Space Design Service - North West.Ripple Group operates nationally and provides solutions and products for overseas markets, and it has only been over recent years that we have focussed on supporting our local community and businesses, and the talent which is virtually on our doorstep is staggering.
The Awards provide a unique platform for business networking between companies of all forms and sizes, introducing them to new customers, partners, suppliers and further growth support.
Ripple’s entry highlights our unique business as a progressive employer, setting itself apart with a people focussed ethos and leadership which goes beyond textbook.
Commenting on the shortlisting, Ripple’s Key Account Director Hannah Wolfenden said ‘’We are delighted to have been shortlisted as finalists for the two categories the team are looking forward to the ceremony and dinner in May, celebrating alongside other inspiring people and organisations who reflect a significant part of the Northern Powerhouse’’.
