Ripple recently completed a new store environment for Bailey Paints, a leading UK independent paint and decorative business housed in the historic surroundings of an old watermill.
The challenge was to improve the format to achieve an optimum relationship in-store between the trade and consumer environments, positioning each to have a positive impact on the other (this is a problem in many environments which serve both trade and consumer) whilst sympathetically making the most of the unique features of the building such as the curved entrance.
Despite the current volatile and testing trading environment, since the completion of the project cash sales are showing a trend defying performance of +18% on a LFL base.
